JAMOBOP is designed to work without a product account, an advertising profile, or a server-side learning history. This notice explains the limited data that still moves through stores, RevenueCat, support, and website infrastructure.
Replace every highlighted placeholder with the controller's real identity, address, contact details, hosting provider, and retention decisions. Review this notice against the production binaries and store privacy declarations with qualified counsel.

This notice applies to the JAMOBOP mobile app, this public website, and support communications controlled by the operator. Apple, Google, RevenueCat, the website host, and your device's speech provider may also act as independent controllers or processors under their own terms.

The current app does not request your name, contacts, precise location, photos, microphone recordings, personal writing, health information, advertising identifier, or a JAMOBOP login.
PURCHASES & REVENUECAT
JAMOBOP offers monthly, yearly, and lifetime access. The purchasing store processes payment details and does not provide JAMOBOP with your full card number. RevenueCat receives purchase history and an automatically generated anonymous App User ID so the app can load products, verify the jamobop_full entitlement, observe renewals, and restore access.
JAMOBOP does not send lesson progress, learned Korean items, Replay answers, or app preferences to RevenueCat. The production configuration does not assign an account email or custom JAMOBOP user ID.
Store accounts, receipts, subscription management, refunds, and tax records are also governed by the privacy terms of Apple or Google. RevenueCat acts as a service provider for purchase infrastructure and publishes its own privacy and data-processing information.
WEBSITE & COOKIES
This static website does not currently set analytics, advertising, personalization, or other non-essential cookies. It does not load marketing pixels, embedded social feeds, or third-party analytics scripts.
The hosting provider may process standard server request logs to deliver and secure the site. If JAMOBOP later introduces analytics, embedded media, or non-essential cookies, this notice and the consent experience must be updated before those tools are enabled.
No consent banner is shown because the site is designed not to place non-essential cookies. A banner becomes necessary if the deployed stack changes.
DEVICE AUDIO & PLATFORM SERVICES
JAMOBOP currently requests speech playback through the operating system's installed Korean text-to-speech service. The app sends fixed curriculum text—not user speech or personal writing—to the device speech service. Depending on the voice you have installed and your platform settings, speech may run on-device or use a service provided by Apple, Google, or the voice vendor.
JAMOBOP does not receive a recording of your voice and does not request microphone access for this feature. Review your device's speech, privacy, and network settings if you want to control how the installed voice operates.
PROCESSORS & INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Purchase infrastructure may involve processing outside your country. RevenueCat states that its service data is hosted using Amazon Web Services in the United States and makes EU Standard Contractual Clauses available for restricted transfers. Apple and Google operate global store infrastructure under their own transfer safeguards.
The final published notice must list the production website host, support provider, and any additional subprocessors actually used, together with the relevant transfer mechanism where required.
YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to be informed, access personal data, correct it, request deletion, restrict processing, receive portable data, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, and complain to a data protection authority.
Most learning data never reaches JAMOBOP and can be removed from the device by clearing app data or uninstalling, subject to platform backups. For purchase data or support correspondence, contact the controller using the address above. We may need enough information to verify the request without collecting more than necessary.
If you are in Spain, you may also contact the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos. If another supervisory authority is competent for your situation, you may complain to that authority instead.
CHILDREN & FAMILY USE
JAMOBOP does not ask for a birth date or create product accounts. Purchases require a valid store account and may be subject to family approval or parental controls. A parent or guardian should manage the store account and device settings for a child who is not legally able to make the purchase independently.
If the operator learns that support channels received personal data from a child without valid authorization where one is required, the operator will take reasonable steps to delete it.
SECURITY & DATA LOSS
Local learning data is stored inside the app's platform-managed storage and benefits from the security controls of your device. Purchase infrastructure uses the security provided by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, so keep your operating system updated and protect access to your device and store account.
Because version 1.0 has no JAMOBOP cloud sync, uninstalling the app, clearing app storage, losing the device, or restoring without the relevant local backup may permanently remove learning progress. Purchase access may still be restorable through the original store account.
